Afterschool Psyanky EGG class

Students will receive 2 duck eggs ( because they have a tougher shell)
& 2  egg cups to display the finished eggs in, and use of tools, dye, and wax.
Psyanky eggs take a bit of time and concentration. It would be good if students studied design ideas before coming to class.
Students will also learn about Psyanky eggs, meanings of shapes and colors on eggs and traditions.
Students will have a 2 hour time period to complete their eggs
Class is 1 day.  Students take their egg cups and eggs home.
Friday March 27
Class starts 4pm-6pm
Traditional Psyanky eggs are done with melted beeswax which means there will be an open flame on the table. Younger students will need extra help from parents.
