Thanks for choosing to shop at Dragons Breath Pottery
Here, you’ll find listed all information relative to shipping costs, handling protocols, returns, and my personal warranty
Shipping & Handling Protocols
All shipping is done via United Parcel Service. This may include service levels of Ground, Second Day Air, and Next Day Air. Should there exist a reason for needing delivery via any other method or carrier, I ask that you contact me prior to placing an order, so that I may provide you with revised shipping and handling charges. Those making international orders should also contact me first. All shipments are insured.
Sales Tax
I am required to collect sales tax on all orders shipping to or picked up within the State of Maine. The current rate is 5%.
Shipping & Handling Costs
Pottery is heavy! It’s also somewhat fragile, and must be carefully packaged. The shipping values shown below take this into account. PayPal will automatically assess the applicable charge during the ordering process:
For all orders up to $24.99 the Shipping & Handling Charge is $15.00.
At $25 through $49.99 the Shipping & Handling Charge goes to $20.00
At $50 through $74.99 the Shipping & Handling Charge goes to $25.00
At $75 through $149.99 the Shipping & Handling Charge goes to $30.00
At $150 and beyond, the Shipping & Handling Charge goes to $50. However, we reserve the right to adjust the shipping cost for orders in excess of $150 to accurately reflect the weight of the purchased items. Should this factor into your purchase, you’ll be contacted prior to our acceptance of your PayPal order.
Returns & Warranty
If you are unsatisfied with any of my products you are welcome to return them for a full refund or like exchange. I ask that you contact me before you return your item.
Duplicates
From time to time I will create “product sets” or “duplicates” such as in place settings or paired dog dishes. Please note however, that since each piece is individually made one at at time completely by hand with no automation whatsoever there will always be some variance between these matched pieces. It is my belief that these subtle differences are desirable character traits and what sets my pottery apart (far apart) from mass produced imported items.
